Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 2, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MyPetRx mobile application ("App") provided by MyPetRx ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Service Description

MyPetRx is a pet medication management application that allows you to:

• Track pet medications, dosages, and schedules
• Log dose administration and care task completions
• Invite caretakers to help manage your pets' care
• View medication adherence analytics
• Receive medication reminders via local notifications

MyPetRx is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice. Always consult your veterinarian regarding your pet's medications and health care. The App is a tracking and organizational tool only.

2. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the App. You may register using an email address and password or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

The App offers a free tier with limited functionality: 1 pet, 2 medications, basic reminders, and 30 days of dose history.

Rx+ Subscription

Rx+ unlocks premium features including unlimited pets and medications, caretaker invitations, adherence analytics, and refill tracking. Rx+ is available as:

• Monthly — $2.99 per month
• Annual — $19.99 per year

Auto-Renewal

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

Managing Your Subscription

You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to premium features until then.

Refunds

All subscription purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's standard refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period. We will provide notice of price changes in accordance with Apple's requirements.

4. Caretaker Accounts

Caretaker accounts are always free. Caretakers are invited by pet owners and can view and interact with assigned pets according to the permission level set by the owner. If you are a caretaker:

• You may only access pets explicitly assigned to you
• The pet owner may revoke your access at any time
• Your actions (dose logging, task completions) are visible to the pet owner

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or violates the rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limits
• Use the App to store information unrelated to pet care
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the App (pet information, photos, notes). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services to you and your designated caretakers.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by MyPetRx and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Medication reminders will always be delivered on time (device settings, network conditions, and operating system limitations may affect delivery)
• The App is a substitute for professional veterinary care or pharmaceutical guidance

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYPETRX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You acknowledge that the App is a tool for tracking and organization only, and that all medical decisions for your pet should be made in consultation with a licensed veterinarian.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings screen. Account deletion permanently removes all your data and cannot be undone.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Apple-Specific Terms

These Terms are between you and MyPetRx, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to applicable warranties, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
